In my Circuits class, our final project was to replicate a classic game using electronics. I worked with a group of two others to create an electronic version of Egyptian Rat Slap. For the project, I worked in Altium to create 4 custom PCBs which I then printed and soldered. The custom circuit was modeled in LT spice, and we coded the game using Arduino. We made the body using laser-cut MDF and assembled everything to be playable in the arcade at the 2023 Fall Engineering Expo.
In this project, I learned the basics of electronics, circuits, and became familiar with Altium and PCB design. I am most proud of the PCBs I designed and soldered. It was incredibly rewarding to work with electronics, design something and get to see it turn on and work.
Below are a few images of our final design and a schematic of the internal electronics.
