For my Senior Capstone project with Los Alamos National Labs my team was tasked to build an unpickable lock (see more in educational projects). Although I was not the "CAD engineer" I still did a fair share of the CAD work including a few drawings that needed to happen to be able to manufacture our device. Below are a few of those drawings.
In one of my manufacturing and design classes I had to create a product that could be fully manufactured. The 3 drawings here are for a timed candle holder and are all designed to be injected molded in ABS.
In one of my manufacturing and design classes I had to model a real world item, and determine the manufacturing method for each individual component. I chose to do a videogame car racing shifter, below are a few drawings of components of the product (including a GD&T one).
For one of my SolidWorks classes I had to reproduce something from around my room. I decided to make my Ryobi circular saw, this included a few engineering drawings below.Â
*These were not intended for manufacture so a few details in the title block or elsewhere are not included*
In my component design class I had to design and build a bike powered by a hand drill. I designed a trike style bike to be cut and welded with 1" square cut steel. A few drawings used to manufacture the bike are below.
